Cancer More Deadly If Anything So Lazy Brush Teeth


Brushing habits are not only useful for maintaining oral health, but also the overall endurance. Research shows, the risk of death from cancer increased sharply when people are lazy to brush my teeth.

According to the researchers in Sweden, lazy people who brush their teeth or not the patient will have more clean tartar. Bacteria love those conditions, so susceptible to infection with bacteria or other germs.



Infections that occur in the teeth and mouth are not only affects the location of the course, because the immune system overall will decline. The resistance which declined to make the body more susceptible to disease, including the deadly cancer.

Studies have been published in the journal British Medical Journal 1390 Open it involves adults and was conducted between 1985 and 2009. During this period, 58 participants died and 35 of them for various types of cancer.

"Our results show that oral health is indicated by the amount of plaque or tartar associated with an increased risk of death from cancer," write the researchers was quoted as saying by the Telegraph, Tuesday (06/12/2012).

In this study, Coral Teeth Index in participants who died of cancer in the range from 0.84 to 0.91 range. While the participants who were alive during the study lasted, the lower teeth Reef index is between 0.66 to 0.67.
