Tucked Vegetables into Children Foods Not A Good Idea

Tucked Vegetables into Children Foods Not A Good Idea

Vegetables tucked into the cake batter so that children are familiar with the taste of vegetables, was not the right thing. This will make the kids tend to leave the vegetables in the future.

Previous research has found that the packaging of foods affect people in terms of choosing certain foods and how delicious taste of food in it before you decide to buy it.

Several studies have shown that children prefer foods that are packaged in a cartoon picture than the food in plain packaging. This is what lies behind the study to determine how the labels are hidden vegetables in the diet can influence the taste perception in children.

The researchers provide two types of food that both contain vegetables, but the one with the label on the packaging of vegetables, while others do not. Surprisingly, children prefer foods without any vegetables in the packaging label.

This is an unexpected finding, because children are theoretically say that food tastes better without vegetables. This will make the child more and do not like vegetables that are served directly in the future.

If you think your child needs nutrition of vegetables, perhaps the best way is to introduce it directly through their daily diet. Try to offer vegetables in their original form without the need to be mixed with the cake to teach healthy eating habits in your child.

Children learn to imitate the eating habits of parents, parents who used to eat vegetables is a great way to educate children to like vegetables.

The study, by researchers at the University of Vermont and Columbia University, published in the Journal of Nutrition Education and Behavior, as reported from thedoctorwillseeyounow, Monday (06/11/2012).
